That's real tasty, and real ugly

So I saw this recipe for a chocolate rum bundt cake on lifesafeast and thought - yeah, that sounds tasty. I started pulling things out of the pantry, and altering things (like more rum) and then, I completely ignored the part about buttering the pan. I mean seriously - that sounds like work to me. I'm not into that. So I didn't do it, I sprayed with nocalspray lazily instead. And that's why this cake is so ugly.

But here's the thing-it tastes so good! It doesn't matter!

Chocolate Rum Bundt Cake

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 1/3 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk + 3/4 cup almond soy milk + 1 tablespoon white vinegar
4 tablespoons rum

Directions

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. If you're like me - spray the pan. If you want this to be pretty, take the time to butter the pan. Also, this is a really flexible recipe. I didn't have buttermilk, I didn't even have enough regular milk to fake it - so I mixed up my own concoction of milk, soy milk and white vinegar and it was fine. I didn't have enough cocoa powder so I supplemented with chocolate chips. I didn't have enough flour so I didn't worry about it. I had plenty of rum, so I ran with it. Bake 65 minutes. Enjoy!
