Upside Down Peach Almond Cake

8 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup almond meal
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
2 peaches
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup yogurt
1 1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup soy milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter cake round cake pan with some of the 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Mix the spices, brown sugar and almond meal. Spread the mixture on the bottom of the pan. Slice peaches and spread out on the mixture. Mix the rest of the ingredients thoroughly and pour on top of the peaches. Bake 30 minutes. Let cool and then run a knife around the edge of the cake. Invert. Enjoy.
