Mad Love Mondays

The J-Man and I are going to Guatemala in June! I was browsing through my blogs and found this beautiful image - from Olga Aguilar.

More info from Olga: "The carpets are made collectively, for blocks and made by whole families, which are responsible for designing, making molds, dyeing sawdust and finishing the carpet. These rugs are made with different types of flowers and sawdust. The sawdust colors are elected and stained in the colors required for the chosen design, while the most commonly used flowers are corozo, gravel, bougainvillea, chrysanthemums, roses and carnations."
