Orange Rose Sorbet

Happy summer! (Sort of, if you're like me and you live in Seattle.) I had craved oranges and went on a binge at the grocery store - only to find out I couldn't eat all of the oranges I had bought. Never fear! There must be something my trusty ice cream maker can do! It was the perfect opportunity to browse through a new (to me) gorgeous blog - The Idea Room! Of course I tweaked it, and of course it turned out amazing!

Orange Rose Sorbet

2 tablespoons rosewater
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice

Bring water and sugar to boil and let simmer for about 15 minutes - take off stove, let cool, add rose water and fresh orange juice. Pop it in that ice cream maker for 25 minutes and then chill in freezer overnight. Savor.
